Build Finance is experiencing a period of growth
It's May, and the patios are open again after a long time. Yet, spring is still a long way off. "It's growth weather," laughs Reinier Visser (CEO), as the rain taps against the windows of the Build Finance office in Volendam. "In the first three months, we've grown in every way."
Build Finance finances rental properties from professional real estate investors. The new real estate financier focuses on social housing and mid-market rentals, with financing volumes ranging from €2 million to €15 million per transaction.
Appealing message
When they launched in February, the Build Finance founders made no bones about it: with their unique proposition, they want to ignite the rental mortgage market and contribute to solving the housing shortage. "Our message is proving to be a huge hit," says Reinier. "The number of applications we've received so far has exceeded expectations. Just three months after launching, we already have a very well-stocked portfolio."
Cooperation
Since April, Build Finance has been working with the independent private equity firm NewPort Capital. Reinier is pleased with this new shareholder: "NewPort Capital supports us in professionalizing the organization and accelerating the implementation of our ambitious growth strategy." The collaboration with the intermediary has also grown significantly in recent months. "We've entered into partnerships with fifteen intermediaries throughout the Netherlands. That also offers plenty of opportunities."
Next growth phase
The Build Finance team has expanded with the addition of Jeroen Spoor (CIO), Rob Pronk (Account & Credit Specialist), and Kelly Oude Meijers (Marketing & Sales Specialist). "This means we're ready for the next growth phase," says Reinier. "After a promising start, we're incredibly excited to continue building our fantastic company together. I'm optimistic about the future!"
